Sheldon Lee Cooper, a narcissist and intolerable genius, who is the most loved character from The Big Bang Theory. He can be described as remarkable, smart, brainy, genius, talkative, uber-nerd, obsessive, eccentric, quirky and loyal. Although, he has no idea how irritating he is but still his irritating nature is one of the reasons behind show's exceptional humor. Yes, he comes across as a nerd, but there are a lot of things he taught us about life.

1) Its perfectly fine to be an introvert.

You might not have many friends in your life. There are certain simple things about friendships which you haven't understood yet. Your definition of 'fun' is different from everyone else. You might always find comfort in staying in your house alone minding your own business. You have accepted introversion as a religion. Fortunately, there is no cure for introversion. You will eventually learn to live with it and understand that its perfectly fine to be different.

2) You should be comfortable about expressing your true views.

Your views define you as a person. Don't camouflage your personality by accepting some things which you don't like. Even if people around you won't like it, still be yourself. In the long run, somehow they will adjust to it.

3) Relationships might not be your thing.

You can be good in many things but at a certain point you realize that relationships aren't made for you. After a series of failing in friendships, you realize that you better off alone.

4) Your work is everything.

Its your work that earns you a respected place in the society. But it doesn't necessarily mean that you have to take a corporate job and rub your ass for the rest of your life. You can convert your passion into profession, even if it forces you to go on a different path from the rest of the world but at the end, it will never fail to bring a smile on your face.

5) Be ready with a subtle response to insults.

People will always find a way to tease you. Don't just agree upon it, reply them with a perfect response But know the difference between insulting and teasing. There is a fine line between these things which destroy friendships.

6) Lend an ear to someone who needs it.

People around you sometimes get sad because of failure in certain things. Don't back off at that time. It is one of the times when you have to prove your friendship. Although you might not have any advice for them, still listen to their problems. They need it.

7) Sometimes, there is nothing wrong in faking a smile.

Just make sure, it doesn't scare people around you.

8) Have a pet. It will always make you happy.

Pets are one of the best example of unconditional love. They never betray you. Once they start loving you, they never stop.

Share if possible. :)
